Admission procedure is online as per Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. F.Y. L.L.B admisiion is generally start in May.
The requirement and eligibility of admission to the LL.B Programme are as per the rules prescribed by the Bar Council of India (BCI), from time to time. Students who have passed three-year Bachelor Degree Examination in any faculty f this University or any other recognized university or as equivalent to the corresponding examination by this University with atleast 45% marks in the aggregate (40% for S.C. and S.T. students and 42% aggregate for OBC Category) as per the Bar Council of India Rules, shall be eligible for admission in First LL.B. (Semester-I). Choice Based Credit and Semester system is introduced in the LL.B programme of study.
The rules regarding recognition of the semesters shall be as prescribed by the University from time to time. S.C./S.T./OBC other candidates eligible for reservation. Candidates shall have to produce requisite documents from the concerned competent authority, along with the admission form. The candidates seeking admission in First LL.B (Semester-I) on the basis of sports/cultural performance shall produce requisite document from competent authority if they have participated in cultural/sports activities at inter-university/state/national/international levels. Such admission shall be per the rules laid down by the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
Admissions in First L.L.B. shall be as per the norms and guidelines prescribed by the Bar Council of India, the University and other competent authorities. The students shall strictly abide by all instructions put up on the college notice board from time to time.
The student seeking admission to the College shall apply, in person, in the prescribed form giving all necessary information correctly with certified copies of the mark sheets of the last examination passed and other supporting documents as demanded by the college. The admission fees shall have to be paid either by demand draft. The demand draft should be drawn in favour of “Sarvajanik College of Law” payable at Surat.
Students coming from colleges affiliated to the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University must apply through their Collages, in prescribed form so as to procure transfer certificate without any delay from the college last attended, paying requisite fee as prescribed by the University for the same.
Students migration from universities other than the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University and seeking admission in this College shall have to produce provisional eligibility certificate from the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, at the time of taking admission along with the application from for the admission to the College. Such students shall have to procure and produce the final eligibility certificate from the Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in due course before the completion of the term in which admitted. The provisional eligibility certificate, however, does not ensure admission in the college.
A student admitted provisionally pending requisite final eligibility certificate will himself/herself be responsible for presentation the same. Failure in doing so may result in cancellation of the admission and the fees once paid will not be refunded.
Admission granted to the students will be cancelled if the information supplied by him/her is either false of if he/she withheld any information which he/she is bound to disclose. In such event, all the fees and deposits will be forfeited by the college and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
